Menempati Gedung milik SGB Negeri 1 Mojokerto bersam-sama dengan SMEP Negeri. Sebuah bangunan tua bekas Gedung HIS di jaman Belanda, namun sarat fasilitas, termasuk telah dilengkapi dengan ruang UKS, Koperasi, Kesenian dan Perpustakaan.[/wgl_custom_text][wgl_spacing spacer_size=”18″][wgl_custom_text font_size=”18″]Pada tahun 1989, SPG berganti nama menjadi SLTA Negeri 4 Mojokerto. Yang kemudian pada tahun 1997 kembali berganti nama menjadi SMU Negeri 3 selama 2 tahun, sebelum kemudian menjadi SMA Negeri 3 hingga sekarang. Serangkaian perubahan nama tidak mengurangi kualitasnya.
